On June 10th, Streaming Nations launched its new website platform with a vision, “To gather, to teach, and to walk together.” The opening home page welcomes visitors to a journey of unity, purpose and direction. The movement was birthed in a prayer meeting held days before all church gatherings were banned due to the covid-19 pandemic. Founded on a passage from Isaiah 2:2 which states, “In the last days the mountain of the LORD's temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and all nations will stream to it,” God assured his people that He was not scattering the church, but rather gathering it in a way that would dawn the largest move of unity in the church yet to date.
The platform hosts a collection of writings, audio sermons, and music from several contributors. True to the name, Streaming Nations has collaborated with people from various nations with the hopes of growing its reach globally. Ministries and church organizations such as 3-Piece Motivation, Overflow City Church, and Beza International Ministries have partnered with Streaming Nations in counsel, prayer, and providing teaching resources. Several individual Christian authors, writers, and bloggers have also submitted inspirational stories and moving testimonies that have encouraged many.
The “wise and faithful manager,” as he likes to refer to himself, of Streaming Nations is Andreas Galatis. Born in Ethiopia, with a mixed ancestry from Cyprus, Andreas was four years old when he moved with his family to Mauritius where he learned to speak French and English in addition to his native tongue, Amharic. There he was introduced to varying cultures from Asia and Africa, all of which helped shape his worldview of unity across ethnic lines. After seven years his family moved again, this time to the United States where he lives now. With an associate degree in Religion and serving full time at his local church, Andreas has a passion to see the body of Christ being “brought to complete unity” as a fulfillment of Jesus’ prayer for all believers in John 17:20-23.
